Town and Parish Councils in Pendle publish their 2020/21 Precepts


Towns and Parishes around Pendle have filed their confirmed Precepts to Pendle Borough Council for the year 2020/21.

Trawden Forest Parish Council saw the largest Precept increase over 70.1%. This equates to around a £40 increase per year for a Band D homeowner.

The most significant increases were:
  • Trawden Forest   +70.1%    +£40 p.a. for Band D house
  • Salterforth           +17.6%   
  • Barnoldswick      +8.6%      +£7 p.a. for Band D house
  • Colne                   +7.4%      +£8 p.a. for Band D house
  • Blacko                 +5.3%      +£1 p.a. for Band D house

Councils who had a 0% change were:
  • Brierfield
  • Goldshaw Booth
  • Higham with West Close Booth
  • Kelbrook and Sough
  • Laneshawbridge
  • Nelson
  • Old Laund Booth
